Your investment in a new home built by MASTER Homes is protected by the 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty from Home Buyers Warranty Corporation.   This is a written warranty that clearly identifies and describes the responsibilities of the builder and the home owner in caring for a new home. The warranty coverage is insured by a third party – National Home Insurance Comapny (RRG) – and your warranty coverage is transferable to another purchaser if you decide to sell your home during the warranty period.

 
While we strive to build a defect-free home, we are realistic enough to know that we may make mistakes or that something in the home may not perform as intended. When either occurs, we will make necessary corrections in accordance with the MASTER Homes limited warranty that comes standard with your home.

The MASTER Homes limited warranty is backed by the 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty program, which is among the nation's finest warranty programs of its kind. The 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty program generally provides coverage against defects in materials or workmanship for a period of two years following your closing date. It provides coverage against defects in the roof system of your home for a period of four years following your closing date. It provides coverage against major structural defects for a period of 10 years following your closing date. In each case, the specific types of defects covered by this limited warranty are described in detail in the 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty booklet. The 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty booklet also contains various exclusions from coverage and places responsibility on you as the homeowner for normal maintenance items. The 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty booklet contains mandatory provisions for arbitrating any disputes that may arise over matters concerning warranty coverage. The 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty booklet is a very important document. Please read it very carefully and consult the booklet each time you consider submitting a Warranty Service Request to MASTER Homes. The actual booklet relating to your home will be mailed to you directly by 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty shortly after your closing. Please note that, after your closing, the terms and provisions of the 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty booklet replace and supersede the terms and provisions contained in the Quality Assurance Builder Standards booklet you received at the time you signed your contract paperwork.
